Sale of Used 1990  Leaf Collection Trailer and Collection Box - This item was advertised on Municibid.com and awarded to the highest bidder in the amount of $2,075.

Public Notice - Commercial Property for Sale in Downtown Greensburg

Bids for property sale were accepted until Noon on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.The following proposals were received:  Gregory C. Moore and Lawrence F. Becker, III - $541,003; CTO Group, LLC - $475,000; The Buncher Company, $457,000-$575,000; The B5 Group, LLC - $490,000; and Dave Robinson Esq. - $510,000. The sale was awarded toGregory C. Moore and Lawrence Becker, III in the amount of $541,003 at the November Council Meeting on November 13, 2012. 

  Request for Proposals for Auditing Services

Bids for auditing services were accepted until 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

Bids were received from six auditing firms and awarded to the low bidder, Deluzio & Co., LLP,  of Greensburg, PA  in the total amount of $42,750 for years 2012 through 2014.  Other amounts were:  Maher Duessel, $48,218; DeBlasio & DeBlasio, $47,700; Delisi & Associates, PC, $45,600 and Case Sabatini, $49,680.

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract:  RFQs were received from two (2) vendors out of Pittsburgh:  Constellation Energy and Johnson Controls.  Council voted to accept the proposal from Constellation Energy at the July 9, 2012 Council Meeting.

 

Milling of City Streets 2012

 Bids were opened on June 5, 2012.  The results were as follows:  A. Folino - $2.23 per sq. yard; Donegal - $3.20 per sq. yd.; Swank Construction - $3.79 per sq. yd.

Up-Fitting of One Fire Department Service Body onto New Vehicle Chassis

  Bids were opened on June 5, 2012  The results were as follows:  Sabre Equipment - $25,288; and Webb's Service Center, Inc. - $29,975

 

 

Fabrication and Purchase of Wayfinding Sign System for the City of Greensburg and Excela Health Westmoreland.  This bid was awarded at the April 9, 2012 meeting to the low bidder, Allied Environmental Signage of Eatontown, NJ, which was the only qualified bidder, in the amount of $63,000 (with breakaway posts for Welcome Signs or in the amount of $57,000 (without breakaway posts).

Purchase of Ten (10) 2012 Golf Carts (as amended 2-22-2012)- This bid was awarded to G. C. Golf Car Supply, INc. in the amount of $38,750 for ten (10) 2012 carts.

Milling of City Streets 2011 Proposals were received and awarded to Donegal Construction Corporation of Greensburg, PA  on June 13, 2011 in the amount of $25,301.61.
.
Request for Proposals for Concessionaire Lease(s) for the Pool, Arena and Golf Course .  Proposals were considered and awarded to Duane's Cafe on Grove for the operation of the rink and pool snack bar facilities at Lynch Field at the December 2010 Council meeting.  At that time a decision on the award of the lease for the operation of the Mt. Odin Golf Course facility was tabled.  The item was revisited at the March 2011 meeting and council voted to enter into a lease agreement with Duane's Cafe on Grove for the Mt. Odin facility also.

Request for Proposals (RFP) for Wide-Area Fiber Network Products and Service - Bids were opened and read publicly on June 14th: RFPWide-AreaFiber Network Products and Services.   At the regular Council meeting on June 14th, Council voted to table action for further review and consideration.

Three bids were received:
U.S. Utility Contractor Co., Toledo, OH - $28,324.51 (bid disqualified -no bid bond included)
Celerity Intedgrated Services, Quakertown, PA - $26,950 (option A) and $29,450 (option B)
One Communications, Burlington, MA  $20,950 reoccuring charge

At the regular meeting of Council on July 12, 2010, Council voted to reject all bids received.
